I'm under the weather, so forgive my tardiness and lack of creatvity.
I'll share my 2 favorite books on writing:
Brd by Bird (really helps with plotting and brainstorming and being affirmative);
Archtypes (and something else - sorry I lent my copy) by Tami Cowan (and another lady but see my last excuse). This is my favorite book on crafting characters.

Get better, Rhon. Its The Complete guide to Heroes and Heroines, 16 Archetypes. One of my favorite writin' books. Add Fiction Writer's Brainstormer, J. Smith. And ditto on Bird By Bird. (I have a signed copy from Anne LaMott somewhere)
