Nerd in a Wolf Suit by Laine Morgan

Phoebe Morin, a young widow, takes a new job in a new city, trying to move on with her life after the sudden death of her husband, Steven.

The night before starting her new job, she discovers that there are such things as vampires, and to make the nightmare worse, they want something from her. Phoebe has no idea what that something might be, but they are determined to get it from her by any means necessary.

Phoebe’s co-worker, Drew Montana is a handsome social outcast with a small problem… One evening 3 years ago, while jogging, a wolf attacked him -  turning him into a werewolf!

Phoebe must believe and trust Drew if they are going to get out of this situation alive.

Full of vampires, a sexy werewolf with Asperger’s, a few poltergeists, and enough twists and turns to keep you reading.

This was an enjoyable read. Ms. Morgan kept the action rolling and surprised me even when I thought I had it all figured out.

I loved Laine Morgan’s description of the poltergeists and the way she brings these urban legends to life, in present day.  Nicely done.
